Replacement Rules From the C-Class Manuals
- AGM or Lithium-IonThe 2021 and 2023 C-Class manuals say full vehicle function is only guaranteed with one of these two technologies, so a standard flooded battery is ruled out.
- Vent Hose on Its OpeningThe hose goes back on the original opening at the side of the battery, with any cell caps fitted, so gas and acid cannot escape.
