Yes. AtlasBX and Hankook batteries both come from Hankook & Company in South Korea. ATLASBX was the company's own name from 2004 until it merged into Hankook & Company in 2021, and it carries on as the group's maintenance-free battery brand.
No. The brand carries on under Hankook & Company. Since 2023 the company has sold its maintenance-free batteries in Korea as ATLASBX and its premium AGM batteries as Hankook, made in the same plants in Daejeon, Jeonju and Tennessee, US.
The range each name covers. In Korea, ATLASBX is the maintenance-free brand for conventional cars and Hankook is the premium AGM brand. Outside Korea the maker sells its MF, Tropical MF, EFB and AGM lines under the Hankook name. Both come from the same maker and plants.
Yes, in the same size and terminal layout. A Hankook MF Prime suits an everyday car, a Tropical MF suits a car that spends the summer in the sun, and a Supreme EFB or AGM suits a car with start-stop. We read the size from the old label before fitting.
Yes. AtlasBX is the maker's maintenance-free brand, so the battery is sealed and never needs water added. That suits a car without start-stop. A start-stop car takes the maker's EFB or AGM instead, sold under the Hankook name.

Yes. Our 1-year warranty covers the replacement, AtlasBX or Hankook, from its fitting date, and the invoice shows which battery went in. Keep the invoice with the car's papers in case the battery ever needs checking.
