No. Dagenite's range is EFB and maintenance-free, so a car built with an AGM battery needs AGM from another brand: an EFB in its place wears out early. Cars fitted from new with EFB, or with a standard battery, can move to a Dagenite EFB.
Our 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults, written on the invoice with the battery code and fitting date. Keep the invoice safe: it is the record any claim starts from.
The charge indicator in the lid shows the state of one cell, read against the colour key on the label. It is a quick guide only: a battery can show a good colour and still fail a load test, which is why we test before recommending a replacement.
Yes. Dagenite EFB is built for idle stop-start and regenerative braking, in the Japanese start-stop sizes from N-55 to T-110 and European L2 to L5 cases. Match the size code in your owner's manual or on the old battery, and we fit the Dagenite in that size.
