EFB handles standard start-stop; AGM handles cars that also recover energy under braking or run a heavy electrical load. A car built with AGM takes AGM again, and one built with EFB takes EFB or an AGM upgrade. Premium, Excell and Classic carry a label saying they are not for start-stop.
Exide's recipe of carbon additives on the negative plates, used in its EFB and Premium batteries. It improves current flow inside the battery and helps dissolve sulphate deposits, so a Premium recharges up to twice as fast as a conventional battery. That counts on short city trips.

Yes, as the 12V battery that runs the car's electronics and safety systems and wakes the high-voltage system. It is never the drive battery, which is a separate high-voltage pack. The 12V battery has to match the one fitted at the factory, by size, terminals and rating.
No. Exide Technologies, based in France, makes the AGM, EFB, Premium, Excell and Classic lines, while Exide Industries of India sells its own ranges and the Dagenite brand. The maker's name is printed on the label, and we match the replacement to what your car needs.
