A free health and cranking test shows whether the battery has failed, or whether the charging system is the real fault.

The group size, terminal side and reserve capacity are read from the car, so the Kays drops straight into the tray.

Internal plate failure
A plate defect from manufacture that stops the battery holding or delivering charge.
Terminal corrosion from a fault
Corrosion caused by a manufacturing fault in the terminals or case seal.
Capacity below rating
Capacity that drops below the battery's rated specification within the year.
Not covered: damage from incorrect installation, physical impact, or deep discharge caused by an electrical fault in the car. Keep the invoice: it records the battery and the fitting date.

Keep Your Kays Going Longer in the Heat
Cut the drain when parked
Infotainment, lights and accessories left on with the engine off cause deep discharges, which shorten any battery's life.
Test it once a year
A yearly health and cranking test spots a fading battery before it leaves you stuck. Ours is free.
Have it fitted properly
Correct fitting avoids reverse polarity and voltage spikes that can damage the car's control units, and an AGM needs its charging voltage checked.
