We fit Yuasa batteries made by GS Yuasa of Kyoto anywhere in Dubai, at home, at work or in a mall car park, in the size your car takes. Five Yuasa Ranges, From City Cars to Hybrids
- Y5Maintenance-free for Japanese cars without start-stop, in JIS sizes from 40B19 to 130D31. Built for hot engine bays: Yuasa rates its heat durability at over 130% of its conventional model.
- EFB (EPIY)Enhanced flooded for start-stop cars, in JIS sizes from M-42 to T-115. It also suits cars without start-stop, so one battery covers both.
- AGM for hybridsThe auxiliary 12V battery Toyota hybrids such as the Prius and Corolla Hybrid use to start the hybrid system, matched to the model and grade.
- Y6Maintenance-free in European EN cases, LN0 to LN5, for European cars and the Japanese models built with EN batteries.

Japanese Engineering for Hot Engine Bays
Heat-resistant grid
A grid alloy made to resist heat slows the wear a hot engine bay causes.
Lithium in the electrolyte
Lithium added to the electrolyte speeds up charging, which suits cars whose alternator only charges in short bursts.
Sulfation additive
An additive in the negative plates holds back sulfation, one of the main reasons a battery loses capacity with age.
Counterfeits
Tested and Invoiced, So You Know What You Bought
Counterfeit batteries carrying the YUASA name have been found in Dubai: in January 2013 the Department of Economic Development seized 4,173 of them after GS Yuasa reported the seller. A fake can wear a convincing label and still fall short of the capacity printed on it.
That is why every Yuasa we fit is load-tested on the spot and recorded on an invoice by model, so what you paid for is on paper.

Yes. GS Yuasa was formed in 2004, when Japan Storage Battery, the maker of GS batteries, merged with Yuasa Corporation.
The Yuasa EFB in JIS sizes, or the Y8 in European EN sizes. A car built with an AGM battery gets an AGM again.
Yes. Yuasa makes an AGM auxiliary battery for Toyota hybrids such as the Prius and Corolla Hybrid. The right model depends on the car's model and grade.
Look for sharp label print with ratings that match your car, ask for an invoice naming the model, and have the battery load-tested when it is fitted. We do all three on every Yuasa we supply.
In Japan and Indonesia. The Y5, EFB, AGM, Y6 and Y8 ranges are made in Japan, and GS Yuasa also builds JIS and DIN batteries in Indonesia.
From AED 175 fitted, at your location. The quote for your car comes over the phone, and the old battery is collected for recycling.
