We come to the Autodrome car parks when a long day at the circuit ends with an engine that refuses to crank. The FIA-sanctioned 5.39 km track has run since 2004, the racing season runs from November to March with free entry for spectators, and on open track days drivers take their own cars out.

Where Motor City Meets E311 and Al Qudra Street
Motor City, officially Al Hebiah 1, has the E311 motorway along its northern edge. Arjan and Al Barsha South face it across the carriageways, Dubai Sports City lies to the west and Dubai Studio City to the south. At its north-eastern corner, Umm Suqeim Street turns into Al Qudra Street, the road on to Arabian Ranches.
If the car gave up on the E311 itself, say which side of the motorway you are on and the last junction you passed, as the two carriageways are reached from different ramps. That is a roadside job rather than a car park one, but it goes through the same number as car battery replacement in Motor City.
