The battery
A load test shows whether it can still deliver starting current, and the result is shown to you.
German · Performance & HybridYour BMW's battery gets a free test wherever the car is parked, and one that has failed is swapped there and then, at any hour. Many BMWs keep it away from the engine: BMW's rescue sheets put it beneath the boot floor of the X5 and X7 built from 2018, while the 2024 X3 carries its 12V under the bonnet beside a 48-volt battery at the back. Model and year settle which before we set out.

No single layout covers every BMW. Depending on the model, the 12V battery lives under the bonnet, under the luggage floor or in both places, and many recent cars add a 48-volt battery for the mild-hybrid system. Send the model and year, and the technician turns up already sure where to look and which battery to load.
Each battery the car carries gets a free test of its own. A battery that passes stays put; a failed one is exchanged for the size, type and rating its label shows, at the price you agreed when you called.

Any other BMW is matched from the battery already fitted, and the technician confirms how many batteries your car has before work starts.
Where a BMW has a battery in the boot and another under the bonnet, BMW battery replacement starts with a separate test of each, so a good battery is not thrown out with a bad one.
The new battery copies the old label's size, type and rating. BMW's 2014 service bulletin for the V8 X5 and 7 Series shows why capacity matters: registering a battery of a different capacity takes its own entry and extra programming. Whatever your BMW needs after fitting is explained when you book.

Loose or corroded clamps are cleaned and tightened before the battery takes the blame.
The charging-system check is free and shows whether the car is recharging the battery while it runs.
BMW fits a safety battery terminal to the positive post, which its rescue manual says the airbag system fires to disconnect the starter cable in a crash. It goes back on exactly as it came off.
Send the model and year to Battery Change Dubai, and the technician arrives with a battery to suit, testing the old one before anything is fitted.
More than 20 mobile vans work across Dubai. For a battery call, a technician reaches you in about 25 minutes. The vans cover Al Karama, Dubai South, Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, office car parks, villa communities and highways.
From AED 175 fitted, on the drive, at the office or in a basement. Your model decides the battery and so the price, which you hear on the phone and agree before the technician leaves. Delivery, fitting and the battery test cost nothing extra, and the replacement carries our 1-year warranty.
The back, not the bonnet. BMW's rescue sheet for the X5 built from August 2018 marks it under the boot floor, and a fully equipped car shows one more low-voltage battery at the back of the engine bay. The technician clears the boot floor first and tests every battery the car has.
BMW asks its own dealers to: its 2014 service bulletin for the V8 X5 and 7 Series has every new battery registered with the car, noting whether the capacity changed. Tell us model and year at booking, and you hear how that step is dealt with on your BMW before anyone drives out.
Because BMW treats a change of capacity as a separate job. In the same bulletin, fitting a 105 Ah battery where a 90 Ah AGM had been calls for a different entry and extra programming, unlike a like-for-like swap. Copying the size, type and rating on the old label avoids that.
Yes. The rescue sheet for the iX built from July 2021 places a 12V battery at the front, apart from the high-voltage pack. If an iX will not wake, that 12V battery is tested in place and replaced only if it fails, while the high-voltage system is never touched.
Test first. Jump-starts are from AED 99; a battery that then fails the test can be replaced on the spot, while one that passes stays put, with the reading explained to you. Either way, you only pay for a new battery when the old one has actually failed.
