Lamborghini 12-Volt Batteries, Handled in Lamborghini's Order
Lamborghini's November 2024 emergency response guide sets out how the low-voltage side is disconnected, and we follow the same order on every visit: ignition off, then the negative terminal of the 12-volt lead battery first, with its cable kept clear of the post.
Some Lamborghinis add a 48-volt system for roll stabilisation and an advanced start/stop mode, run through a belt-driven start-alternator and backed by a supercapacitor. Its cables are orange, and the guide says the ignition must be off before the supercapacitor is disconnected. That side is left alone.

Both rescue data sheets put the battery inside the cabin rather than under the bonnet.

What Happens Before the 12-Volt Battery Comes Off
Lamborghini's guide is written for rescuers. These are the parts of it that apply to a planned Lamborghini battery replacement.
Seats and windows are set first, because every electrical function, seat adjustment included, stops once the 12-volt battery is off.

Inside the cabin. The Urus SE rescue data sheet says to switch off the ignition, remove the passenger footwell carpet and then the battery cover, and the negative terminal is under there. We reach it the same way, so nothing on the high-voltage side has to be touched to change the battery.
On models with a 48-volt system, Lamborghini's November 2024 emergency response guide says a supercapacitor supplies the roll stabilisation. It is separate from the 12-volt lead battery, its cables are orange, and the ignition has to be off before it is disconnected. A battery replacement does not involve it.
Close to it. The Temerario rescue data sheet also places the 12-volt battery on the passenger side of the cabin, but the footrest comes out as well: the carpet is lifted, four screws are undone and the footrest removed before the negative clamp can be loosened.
