Every Bugatti battery replacement we handle begins with the battery already in the car. Its label gives the replacement we supply, so a Veyron Grand Sport, a Chiron Pur Sport and a Divo each get the battery their own car carries rather than one assumed from another model.
The old battery is taken away for recycling once the new one is in and the car has started.

Bugatti's technical release for the Tourbillon says its 800-volt electric motors act as starter motors, generators and performance enhancers, doing away with a traditional 12-volt starting system.
