The 2024 Corvette owner's manual covers three batteries: a standard 12-volt lead acid battery, the E-Ray's 12-volt lithium-ion battery and its high-voltage battery. It sends service on all three to the dealer.

The 2024 Corvette owner's manual sends 12-volt battery service to the dealer. We test the C8's battery free at the car and can jump-start it through the terminals the manual shows, and explain at booking how a replacement is handled for your car. On a C5, C6 or C7 we replace the battery on site.
The 2024 owner's manual expects it: after the battery is disconnected and reconnected, after fuses are pulled or replaced, or after a jump start, a message that the top is not secure may appear. The manual clears it by holding the top switch to open or close the roof until the message goes.
The 2024 owner's manual says the E-Ray's 12-volt lithium-ion battery needs a higher voltage than a lead acid battery for jump starting, and it allows only GM approved jump start boxes and charging tools. Mention the E-Ray when you call, and how it is handled is explained at booking.
