Ignition off, then two minutes
The engine management keeps storing data after switch-off, so the manual asks for a wait of at least two minutes before disconnection.
American · Luxury SUVYour Lincoln's battery is tested free and, if it has failed, replaced where the car is parked in Dubai, 24/7, from the Navigator to the MKZ and Continental. On a 2023 or 2025 Navigator, the owner's manual sets the rules we work to: a battery of exactly the same specification on cars with Auto-Start-Stop, a two-minute wait before disconnecting, and a short reset routine afterwards.

Every Lincoln visit opens with a free test, so a battery that is only run down is recharged rather than sold again. When it has failed, the new one is matched to the car's specification and the old unit is taken away for recycling.
The 2023 and 2025 Navigator manuals place the battery in the engine compartment. On an MKX, MKZ, MKS or Continental, the label on the existing battery sets the size and type we bring.

The 2025 Navigator manual gives the order, and a Lincoln battery replacement from us follows it.
The engine management keeps storing data after switch-off, so the manual asks for a wait of at least two minutes before disconnection.
The negative cable comes off and is isolated before the positive, then the securing clamp is released and the battery lifted out.
On a Navigator with Auto-Start-Stop, only a battery of exactly the same specification goes back in its place.
The ignition stays off until the new battery is connected, and the terminal covers and battery cover are refitted.
A Navigator's battery management system has to learn its new battery. The 2023 and 2025 manuals ask for eight hours of sleep time after a replacement, with the SUV fully locked and the ignition off, and warn that some electrical features may pause until then.
Both manuals also give a sensor reset you can do from the driver's seat: ignition on with the engine off, flash the high beams five times ending with them off, then press the brake pedal three times, all within 10 seconds. Three flashes of the battery warning lamp confirm it.
The 2025 edition adds that the battery management system should be configured to match the replacement and refers owners to a dealer or service provider for that. We explain at booking how it is handled on your car.

The 2023 and 2025 manuals list these after the battery is disconnected or replaced. We point each one out when we hand the keys back.
The steering system relearns its strategy over a short drive
The automatic transmission relearns its adaptive strategy and may shift firmly at first
Window bounce-back has to be reset
The clock and preset radio stations need setting again

If a jump comes before the new battery, the manual is precise about where each lead goes.
The red rubber boot is pulled back so the positive lead reaches the discharged battery's positive terminal.
The final negative connection goes to exposed metal on the engine, clear of the battery and the fuel injection system, or to a ground point where there is one.
The manual allows only a 12-volt supply and says not to disconnect the battery of the car being started.
With Battery Change Dubai, your Lincoln's battery is tested where it is parked and, when it has failed, replaced with the specification its manual asks for.
More than 20 mobile vans work across Dubai. For a battery call, a technician reaches you in about 25 minutes. The vans cover Al Karama, Dubai South, Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, office car parks, villa communities and highways.
That is its battery saver at work. The 2023 and 2025 Navigator manuals say the SUV shuts itself off after about 30 minutes of inactivity in accessory mode, or when it detects a certain amount of battery drain. If it happens after only short use, a free battery test shows whether the battery is still healthy.
Not on its own. The Navigator manuals describe it as a notice that the battery management system is switching off loads such as heated seats or climate control to protect the battery, not as a sign of a fault. Our free test tells you whether the battery is weak or simply run down.
No. Both the 2023 and 2025 manuals say a Navigator with Auto-Start-Stop must take a battery of exactly the same specification, and the 2023 parts table lists Motorcraft BAGM-94RH7. We confirm the specification from your battery's label before the van sets off, so the right unit arrives first time.
Lincoln explains it in the manual: once the battery is disconnected or replaced, the automatic transmission relearns its adaptive strategy, so the first gear changes can feel firm. The steering system also relearns over a short drive. Both settle on their own as you drive, with no workshop visit needed.
