French · Hatchback & SUVWe check your Peugeot's battery free of charge on the spot. A failed one is swapped for a battery of the same technology and specification, and the resets are done with you. On a 3008 that means the ignition on for one minute before the first start, then the key, windows, sunroof, clock and radio presets, and Stop & Start may stay off until the car has rested for up to about 8 hours.

A technician drives the battery out to your Peugeot and checks the old one before anything is changed. The figure is fixed by phone in advance, and the removed battery is taken for recycling.
The 3008 handbook from 2016 says versions with Stop & Start carry a 12 V lead-acid battery of specific technology and specification, and Peugeot wants its replacement done by a dealer or a qualified workshop. We read that specification off the fitted battery, so the new one matches it rather than just the case size.

Peugeot's 3008 handbook lists these once the battery is back on. After the fitting we go through each one with you.
Ignition on, then wait 1 minute before starting the engine
The remote control or electronic key
The sunroof and its electric blind
The electric windows and their anti-pinch function
The date and time

On the trip after the first engine start, the 3008 handbook warns that Stop & Start may not work. It comes back after the car has stood without interruption for a period that depends on the outside temperature and the battery's charge, up to about 8 hours. That is the car relearning, not a fault with the new battery.
Low charge holds the system back too: Peugeot says some functions, Stop & Start among them, are unavailable when the battery is not sufficiently charged. If Stop & Start rarely works on an older battery, that is a good reason to book a Peugeot battery replacement test.
Because the 3008's negative terminal is out of reach, the handbook sends the black lead somewhere else.
Connect the red cable to the (+) terminal at the metal elbow, then to the booster.
Connect the black cable from the booster to the remote earth point the handbook marks as C.
Never a 24 V or higher booster, and never a battery charger used to start the engine.
Once started, run the engine for at least 30 minutes so the battery recovers its charge.
On versions with an automatic gearbox, Peugeot says not to push-start the car.

Peugeot recommends disconnecting the battery when the car will be out of use for a long period, and the 3008 handbook sets the order.
Doors, tailgate, windows and sunroof shut, and the audio, wipers and lights switched off.
Switch off the ignition and wait four minutes before touching the battery.
Lift the lever on the quick-release clamp to free the (+) terminal. Nothing else needs disconnecting.
Peugeot's 2025 handbook for the 208 explains that the electric version keeps a 12 V accessory battery for its conventional electrical system, recharged automatically by the traction battery. If that accessory battery goes flat, the car can neither start nor recharge its traction battery.
For storage beyond a month, the same handbook says to disconnect the cable from the accessory battery's (+) terminal in the engine compartment and to charge it with a 12 V charger about every 3 months. It also warns against using the accessory battery to jump-start another car.
Through Battery Change Dubai, your Peugeot gets a battery of the right technology, fitted where it stands, with the resets done before we drive off.
More than 20 mobile vans work across Dubai. For a battery call, a technician reaches you in about 25 minutes. The vans cover Al Karama, Dubai South, Business Bay, Downtown Dubai, office car parks, villa communities and highways.
The 3008 handbook asks for the ignition to be switched on and a one-minute wait before starting, so the car's electronic systems can initialise first. Our technician does this for you once the new battery is in, then goes through the key, windows, sunroof, clock and radio presets with you.
Peugeot expects it. The 3008 handbook says Stop & Start may not work on the trip after the first start, and returns once the car has stood without interruption for up to about 8 hours, depending on temperature and charge. Park it overnight and it should come back on its own.
No. Peugeot's 3008 handbook says Stop & Start versions use a 12 V lead-acid battery of specific technology and specification. That type is printed on your existing battery, so it is what the van is loaded with once the price has been confirmed by phone.
Under the bonnet, with a quick-release clamp on the (+) terminal. Its negative terminal cannot be reached, so Peugeot fits a remote earth point next to the battery, marked C in the 3008 handbook, and that is where the black jump or charger lead goes.
Yes, its 12 V accessory battery. Peugeot's 2025 208 handbook says that if it goes flat, the car cannot start or recharge the traction battery. We come out 24/7 to test that accessory battery where the car stands, and the high-voltage side is never touched.
Expect a starting price of AED 175 with fitting. Your Peugeot's label, and whether it has Stop & Start, decide the battery and so the final sum, which you agree with us by phone. We charge nothing to come out or to test, and our 1-year warranty is part of the price.
